Patrol Toolkit — Terms of Service
Patrol Toolkit is operated by KeyatPackle LLC.
By downloading, accessing, or using Patrol Toolkit (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What the App Does
Patrol Toolkit is a local-first patrol toolkit intended to help law enforcement professionals with note-taking, reference material, and operational workflow support.
The App does not replace agency policy, legal counsel, dispatch systems, records systems, or emergency services.
2. Eligibility and Authority to Use
You represent that you are legally able to accept these Terms. If you use the App on behalf of an agency or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Accounts and Access
The App may be used without creating a traditional online account. The App is free to install. SFST Timer and Law Reference are available at no charge, while certain premium features require a one-time non-renewing lifetime unlock purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play.
You are responsible for safeguarding your device and any passcode, biometric lock, or other local security controls.
4. Lifetime Unlock Billing
Certain features require a paid one-time lifetime unlock.
- Billing is processed by Apple App Store and/or Google Play, not directly by the Company.
- The lifetime unlock is a one-time, non-renewing purchase intended to unlock premium Patrol Toolkit features for the purchasing store account, subject to platform restore rules.
- The current United States list price is $9.99, and pricing may vary by region and storefront.
- You can restore a prior lifetime unlock through the in-app restore purchases flow.
Refunds are governed by Apple and Google billing policies.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the App in violation of law, regulation, or department policy;
- misuse or attempt to interfere with App operation or security;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the App except where prohibited by law;
- use the App for unlawful surveillance, harassment, or abuse.
6. Data Handling and Privacy
Patrol Toolkit is designed to operate local-first, meaning user-generated operational data is intended to remain on your device unless you choose to export, share, or use a limited online helper service described in the Privacy Policy.
The App does not provide third-party advertising or cross-app/cross-site tracking in the current build.
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy: patrol-toolkit-legal.html
7. No Legal Advice / No Emergency Service
The App and its content are provided for informational and operational support purposes only.
- The App does not provide legal advice.
- The App is not an emergency dispatch or 911 substitute.
- You remain solely responsible for professional judgment, legal compliance, and policy compliance.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including software, design, text, graphics, and branding (excluding user-generated content), is owned by or licensed to the Company and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
9. Third-Party Services
The App may rely on third-party services, SDKs, and platform tools (for example: Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Expo, or mapping providers). We are not responsible for third-party service availability, content, or policy changes.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this developer and any future affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to use of the App.
Where liability cannot be excluded, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App or lifetime unlock giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless this developer from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App, violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted at the published Terms URL and/or in-app legal section. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to paid features where allowed by law if these Terms are violated. You may stop using the App at any time. Prior lifetime unlock purchases remain governed by the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play policies.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
